My background is also influenced by small business ownership. My grandfather owned his own business, as did my father, uncle and now my mother. Probably because of this upbringing, I too am self-employed.
I believe in a small, non-intrusive government that is fiscally responsible and defers to state's rights. I believe in the Constitution and everything that goes along with it.
I'm also socially conservative. God, Family and Country. That describes me to the enth degree.
Finally, I welcome informed and well-thought-out comments, criticisms and suggestions. People who have different political opinions than mine are usually not stupid, but rather, are misguided or unrealistic in my view. So let's agree to disagree and not be unkind to each other.
When people attack and call me names, it is because they have no manners and have nothing worthwhile to say. Instead, they should make an honest attempt to explain what was wrong with my analysis. That requires time and thought on their part. For me to descend to their level by doing the same is an exercise in futility.
